Position Description:

For the past three years, Flowserve has been transforming the HR function in order to streamline HR processes by developing better support for our leaders in order to place talent at the heart of the company's strategic decisions.

We are seeking a HR professional to join our Regional HR team. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager for France/Africa, you will be responsible for managing and leading the entirety of the talent life cycle - beginning with attrack and acquire through exist and separate - amongst all levels of the organization. You will be located at our Trappes facility in France (located in the 78), and support our leaders at Paris area offices. This scope includes following core activites:

  • partnering with all levels of people managers to provide professional-level consulting and decision making support for all aaspects of the talent life cycle

  • practicingand demonstrating a high level of competence and professional HR knowledge, skill set and expertise while thinking strategically about talent issues in order to benefit Flowserve and remove potential barriers to success

  • Leveraging the company's HR \"toolkit\", including my HR, HR shared services, policies and programs to address a broad range of HR topics for all associates

  • leading local labour relations, including unions and work councils, and employee relations,

  • leading and ensuring flawless execution of specified initiatives, including realignement, acquisition, integration, and other global and local projects

  • developing, delivering, and managing global HR solutions in the areas of Rewards, broad-based HR programs, project management, systems and reporting

Position Requirements:

The successful applicat will hold a bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field, with at least 5 years prior HR generalist experience and knowledge. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate proficicency in the following:

  • understand the Flowserve Business including long-term strategy and near-tearm initiatives. Be able to articulate and execute HR contributions to these objectives.

  • think strategically, anticipate challenges and address issues that benefit the organization, enhance the organization or resolve potential problems

  • understanding of HR practices and policies, and that of nuances and/or legal restrictions within scope of responsibility

  • Practise and demonstrate a high level of technical HR knowledge, skill and expertise, including Company programs, policies, legal, theory and tools

  • Partner with peers to share and leverage best practices that can be applied on a broader scale for greater impact

  • the ability to manage, manipulate, and interpret data including employee records and financial metrics to ensure accuracy and the ability to inform ongoing functional and business priorities

  • ability to understand the need for change and adapt to change

  • display a high energy level and sense of urgency for getting things accomplished, shows a bias towards action

  • able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems

  • able to convince other on proposed courses of action

  • utilizing PC based tools to extract and analyse date, and make/present data/based recommendations to stakeholders


In addition, fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken are a prerequesite
