Position Description:

Main accountabilities:

  1. Responsible for the daily advancement towards exceeding the agreed upon contractual KPI targets.E7:E16

  2. Act as the primary source of information regarding the design, application, installation, and operation of mechanical seals.

  3. Perform mechanical seal failure analysis and produce reports accordingly.

  4. Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability.

  5. Oversee the seal upgrade process; including measurement, design, delivery, installation and operation.

  6. Support the MOC process with all the required documentation.

  7. Prioritize the engineering and manufacturing functions of Flowserve to meet the customer expectations.

  8. Implement the seal standardization program.

  9. Responsible for overall coordination and implementation of the inventory program.

  10. Maintain and update Flowstar.net to monitor and evaluate the alliance performance.

  11. Carry out reliability walkabouts and generate reports accordingly.

  12. Troubleshoot pump and seal systems operating in the plant.

  13. Oversee pump repairs and seal installations as required.

  14. Document QC activities and present to customer as requested.

  15. Complete adherence to the company and site safety rules.

  16. Assist in developing new methods of solving problems and modifying existing seal designs to meet customer needs and improve seal life.

Position Requirements:

Requirements:

  1. BSME degree or equivalent, 5+ years relevant industry experience or demonstrated capability. CIP GB and LP certified.

  2. 5+ Related business experience as an Applications Engineer and/or Project Manager with an industrial rotating equipment manufacturer required.

  3. Experience in a leading working style which is team oriented and values communication, participation and involvement of others.

  4. Firm demonstrated organizational skills.

  5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  6. Demonstrated attention to detail and process oriented mindset with experienced mechanical aptitude and ability to manage profit and loss accounts.

  7. High proficiency in project management tools, software and concepts.

  8. Have a high standard of written and spoken English as well as strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools.

  9. Some travel will be required. Aprox. 6 to 8 weeks per year.
