Position Description:

The analyst will work with the Reporting Manager – Revenue Practice, the regional Centers of Expertise (COE) Managers, the COE personnel and the site personnel in the disciplined application and execution of Flowserve's Revenue Recognition policy. As part of this activity, the analyst will assist, facilitate and help the regional COEs and site personnel in the utilization of tools, population of templates with required inputs, analysis of both output and reasonability, reconciliation, reporting (both internal and external-10-Q/K), etc.

The analyst will execute centralized activities from corporate headquarters supporting monthly revenue process by preparing the input templates, monitoring

The analyst will assist in the improvement of the existing tools, maintenance of features, developing training material and training new or existing users in the practice and utilization of tools.

The analyst will ensure data (both input and output) is materially correct by performing reasonability analysis. The analyst will also perform advanced analytics on the data to identify trends, identify and analyze unusual transactions, provide recommendations.

The analyst will be deeply involved in the standardization of processes across the company, development and implementation of best practices, identification and application of process improvements.

Along with the Reporting Manger – Revenue Practice, (s)he will be the subject matter expert in revenue recognition and the go-to person by site, COEs, divisional personnel and external reporting.

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• BS in Accounting - CPA preferred

• 5+ years of recent experience in public industrial manufacturing organizations

• 3+ years of recent experience in revenue accounting under ASC605; preferred experience in ASC606 – excludes Software companies-

• Recent experience in POC Accounting in spreadsheets

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a decentralized and dynamic environment with tight schedules, ambiguous instructions, conflicting priorities and supporting and servicing several customers

• Demonstrated ability to convert ideas into activities and executing them

• Doer with agility to manage multiple different work streams and objective simultaneously
