Position Description:

Principal Accountabilities

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

· Remain current and proactive on new and updated accounting standards affecting the company, including evaluation / analysis of impacts

· Track and communicate status of upcoming FASB projects and exposure drafts

· Participate in the comment letter process on FASB exposure drafts that impact the company’s operations

· Partner with the business to manage efforts for implementation of new and updated accounting standards across the company, including (but not limited to) new standards for revenue recognition and leases

· Coordinate and manage the technical accounting for acquisition and divestiture projects

· Provide support for complex and non-routine accounting transactions, including prospectively supporting proposed business transactions and providing relevant advice/consultation to key decision makers

· Support finance-oriented process improvement initiatives across the company

· Partner with the business to assist in the implementation of processes and systems related to the adoption of new and updated accounting standards

· Support other projects and corporate-level initiatives that have a significant impact on the global finance organization

Position Requirements:

Requirements

· MBA or Master’s degree in accounting

· CPA certification

· 6 - 10 years’ experience in some combination of technical accounting, SEC reporting or big four public accounting

· Strong technical accounting and research skills

· Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 842 Leases

· Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) preferred

· Project management experience preferred, including ability to coordinate cross-functional and global teams

· Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to apply judgment and operate effectively in a decentralized, unstructured and dynamic environment

· Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to package and present complex information in an effective and efficient manner

· Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in high pressure, time-constrained situations

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong PC skills including Windows and Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP BPC is preferred but not required
