Position Description:

The purpose of this role is to accelerate Flowserve’s performance and productivity by equipping leaders with timely and accurate human capital and organizational data to support decision-making activities. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing dashboards, visualizations, reports and analysis that support different components of the employee life/talent cycle. This role requires knowledge of reporting and visualization tools, ability to manipulate large data sets, ability to validate/audit data along with attention to detail. Flexibility is a must for this candidate as they will perform as both analyst and developer as they work with partners to understand needs, establish requirements and develop solutions.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years in a business environment, preferably in a Human Resources function or a consultative team.

  • 5+ years of experience with query building and report/dashboard development

  • Experience in organizing and manipulating large sources of structured and unstructured data

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and Access

  • Experience working with data visualization and/or dash boarding

  • Experience with Oracle and SAP Business Objects preferred (similar system experience will be considered)

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to create executive level products

  • Outstanding communication skills, particularly in the presentation of technical concepts

  • Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to provide instruction and build partnerships through trust and expertise

  • Ability to work independently and provide regular status updates


  • Strong sense of pride at delivering reliable and credible HR reporting products

  • Ability to cultivate relationships with partners in order to identify key performance indicators for components of the employee life/talent cycle and transform those indicators into visualized reports and dashboards

  • Ability to work effectively with the technology teams to develop and publish advanced visualizations and dashboards

  • Willingness to identify opportunities for reporting automation and self-service to improve efficiency and data integrity

  • Experience with creating and maintaining reports using SAP Business Objects and Oracle Discoverer

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to absorb information obtained from team meetings, organizational meetings or communications and utilize it in reporting solutions

  • Willingness to promote effective team communication
