Position Description:

The Customer Experience Engineer is the primary technical point of contact to the customer. The right candidate brings a unique combination of technical and communication skills, with a strong work ethic and desire for collaboration with customers, channel partners, contractors, and sales engineers. Customer Experience Engineers dive deep into pump applications. They are subject matter experts on Innomag including applications, features and benefits, and what matters most to end users. They comfortably move between engineering and customer service in a very fast paced start-up environment as they assist our rapidly growing world-wide base of customers and channel partners. They must build effective relationships with engineering, quality, and plant personnel. An Innomag Customer Experience Engineer will lead and contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and best practices development in all areas of service. You will represent the “voice of the customer” to the rest of the team - championing customer success, happiness, and satisfaction through patience, understanding, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist regional Sales and Commercial Operations team with quote generation particularly on opportunities that require special pricing and/or mfg requirements

• Analyze proposal hit rate to help develop a good sense of market level price

• Approve orders for release to Mfg and coordinate with planning on non-standard specs

• Approve and coordinate customers expedites

• Assist with project documentation

• Troubleshoot customer issues and quality escapes remotely and in the field in some cases

• Coordinate witness inspections

• Approve test reports

• Authorize returns and process account credits

• Track and report on sales incentive programs

• Manage key accounts

• Help to ensure strict compliance to export regulations

• Coordinate certifications including ATEX, CE, UL, and FDA

• Update price books

• Support e-commerce and CPQ development

• Conduct product training in factory and in the field in some cases

• Manage forward inventory locations

• Customer visits with sales engineers and distributors

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

· 1-3 years application engineering experience of industrial products required – centrifugal pumps or other fluid handling equipment preferred

· Excellent written and verbal skills with a genuine commitment to customer success

· Engineering degree required

· 20% or less travel
